Why sustainable pitching?

That’s why IDEA advocates for sustainable pitching: efficient, transparent and with mutual respect. Not because there’s one right way, but because every good process starts with clear principles. And because good pitch processes lead to strong, long-term relationships.

Pitch Code 2025: supported by the industry

The Pitch Code is not about rules, but about direction. It helps to have the right conversation. With three pillars – the assignment, the selection process and the terms – the code provides structure for a fair and effective pitch process. The accompanying Pitch Canvas helps clients and agencies to make sharp choices.

IDEA endorses the industry-supported Pitch Code with bvA, VIA, DDA, PMA, DDMA and BNO. The initiative comes from FONK Magazine and is supported by pitch consultants such as 3MO.
